Creating New Pathways for Underserved Families With Coordinated Care

As a leader in providing free and low-cost health insurance coverage to more than 300,000 Medicaid, foster care, Medicare and Marketplace members across Washington, Coordinated Care is also a trusted ally in creating solutions and investing in initiatives that address inequities in food security, education, housing and essential daily needs that impact families’ health and wellbeing.

Building on our partnership to connect more families with nutritious meals, Coordinated Care’s most recent $50,000 grant to WithinReach will support our shared mission to expand access to more equitable care throughout our state. Recent studies have highlighted that the most vulnerable residents of several high-need counties in Washington link to community resources at lower rates than their neighbors. By investing in local Parent and Caregiver Leaders in underrepresented communities, we seek to close this gap through targeted outreach and analysis of the barriers families encounter when attempting to access care, and using this family voice to inform system improvements in the prenatal-to-three space.

When our community partners come together to create opportunities that assure ALL families in Washington have access to support in times of need, we forge more direct pathways to healthier futures. THANK YOU, Coordinated Care, for your generosity, foresight, and further investment in our mission.
