HealthierHere Hosts Kickoff Celebration for Hub Case Management Partners

In a remarkable display of community collaboration, HealthierHere hosted a kickoff celebration on August 29 for all 17 Hub Case Management Partners, including WithinReach. The Hub matches individuals and families in King County with community health workers who help them find resources, navigate systems, and champion their needs. The event, which followed the completion of a comprehensive Community Hub orientation training, celebrated the crucial role of frontline staff in advancing health equity. The five Resource Navigators on our Community Connections team — Cindy Ramirez, Faviola Ruvalcaba, Jennifer Kramer, Norma Pineda and Vanessa Babida — have been helping community members referred to the Hub since July and were recognized at the celebration.

Gathering together provided a valuable opportunity for attendees to connect, bond, and acknowledge the significant achievements associated with launching the Community Hub. The event highlighted the essential contributions of community-based workers and recognized their vital role in driving success within the health sector.

WithinReach was honored to be part of this event, which showcased HealthierHere’s commitment to fostering a supportive and interconnected network. The celebration not only recognized past accomplishments but also energized participants for the ongoing mission of health equity.

“Being at this in person event brought me so much joy,” said Norma Pineda, Resource Navigator at WithinReach. “Meeting our partners and putting faces to names felt very energizing.”
