For over 30 years, Wellpoint (formerly Amerigroup) has been a leading provider of low-cost health insurance and a trusted partner in exploring the social and behavioral factors that create healthier futures for our community’s most vulnerable members. Wellpoint’s support of our work over the years has connected countless Washingtonians to care in times of need.  

Their latest investment in our Prenatal-to-Three (PN3) Coalition work supports efforts to convene advocates and families seeking healthier outcomes for all children in Washington. Through analysis of barriers to care that marginalized communities consistently encounter, the PN3 Coalition seeks to align key stakeholders to transform policies that make quality care more accessible for all.  

The PN3 Coalition applies an equity framework to pursue targeted strategies across four focus areas: 

• Increase access to basic needs 
• Increase access to prenatal and pediatric care 
• Increase family stability by increasing targeted pathways to concrete supports 
• Improve child development through screenings and intervention services 

We are grateful for Wellpoint’s long-standing partnership in addressing our neighbors’ most urgent needs while creating a solid foundation for a future with fewer obstacles to care.
