Expanding Food Access with Support from Coordinated Care

Among the various social determinants of health, food insecurity has one of the most extensive impacts on the overall health of individuals. Our long-term partnership with Coordinated Care will help to expand food access and benefits to families and individuals across Washington State.

We are excited to be the recipients of a $45,000 grant from Coordinated Care. With this funding, we will expand our texting campaign that provides individuals with immediate information about food resources and programs in their area. This funding will also allow us to identify and prioritize areas and communities in our state we are not currently reaching with our programming. We will also be able to update our print and digital outreach materials to make them more accessible for families and providers seeking critical information about food and other comprehensive resources.

Thank you to Coordinated Care for improving the health of Washington communities and supporting our work to improve food access for families and individuals.
