How We Help Families

WithinReach is deeply connected to local communities across the state. We provide multiple ways for people to access our support – in-person, over the phone and online – and find resources close to home. Our comprehensive database with thousands of health and community resources, along with our multilingual staff, ensure that individuals and families come away with the information they need to be healthy and safe.

Just one call connects a person to several resources that offer immediate support and promote health. Our committed staff meets families where they are at in their lives, providing time and compassionate support while identifying their needs. Whether it be early childhood development milestone screening, application assistance for health insurance, or help finding a food bank, parenting class or low-cost medical clinic, WithinReach is here to help. We offer care coordination and navigation, walking people through what to expect, what to do next, and supplying them with the tools they need to thrive.

WithinReach seeks to create change not just in the lives of individuals and families but in Washington communities as a whole. We know we achieve better and longer-lasting impact when we work together. Here are some of the ways we work with partners, providers and policymakers to put healthy families first.

WithinReach is a leader and coalition builder for programs such as Basic Food education, Medicaid outreach and immunization action in Washington State. We are also the coordinated access point and lead affiliate in Washington for Help Me Grow – a framework for communities to maximize their existing resources to ensure everyone feels supported. Through Help Me Grow, parents can access the resources they need, when they need them, so that they are ready and able to be the best parents they can be.
