Among the various social determinants of health, food insecurity has one of the most extensive impacts on the overall health of individuals. WithinReach’s long-term partnership with Coordinated Care will help increase food security among families and people across Washington state.

We are excited to be the recipients of a $50,000 grant from Coordinated Care. This funding supports food-related programs and outreach, so that we can connect more families with both immediate and nearby food resources, as well as long-term support through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and other state programs. This funding allows us to prioritize communities in our state where access to these resources is difficult.
