WithinReach Seeks Consultant for Strategic Planning

WithinReach seeks to partner with a consultant to design, project manage and facilitate a strategic planning process that centers racial equity and community input. WithinReach would like services to begin in June 2023 and end by August 2023. Both individual and consultant team applicants are welcome. Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. (PST) on May 31, 2023.

As WithinReach enters its 35th year of service, on the heels of the COVID pandemic, the Board and Staff seek to take a deep look at the vision, mission, core strategies, strategic direction and commitment to equity to chart a course for the next three years. Over the past three years, WithinReach has grown from a staff of 39 to 90 and is poised to make greater social impact than ever before.

Q&A: Strategic Planning RFQ

Q: Is there an estimated start date for the project?

A: We hope to launch the project by June 15.

Q: How long would you want the project to run for?

A: Our goal is to complete the project by the end of August, and we realize it may run into September based on summer scheduling.

Q: Do you have an estimated budget?

A: The project budget is not to exceed $30,000.

Q: Do you have an expectation of key internal and external stakeholder groups that you’d want to contribute to the process?

A: We plan to seek input from staff, board members, and key community partners, including WA State agencies, Help Me Grow network partners, PN3 Coalition partners, Immunization Action Coalition of WA partners, and others.

Q: Are there any key dependencies or timeline / milestones (i.e., funding / budgetary decisions, or policy or advocacy deadlines) to keep in mind?

A: The Strategic Planning process will help inform an Executive Leadership Search process, which will begin in August.
